Adam Personally

Born and raised in Jacksonville, FL I moved to Indianapolis in March of 2006 to help start a church organization, Indy Metro Church. I met my beautiful wife, Dana, while in Indianapolis and returned to Florida (Tampa) in 2014. I have an older brother and younger sister, both happily married. My brother has two daughters, such beautiful little girls. I’m hoping life changes me for the better and I plan on documenting it along the way. I graduated from Crossroads Bible College Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Leadership and Ministry and Indiana Wesleyan University with a Masters in Business Administration. Mentoring (in several different capacities) is something I believe can change the world. I have been a big brother since 2006 through Big Brothers Big Sisters.  I helped start and run a mentoring program at the Salvation Army in downtown Indianapolis.

I am always looking for new challenges and things to learn.  I am a basketball  and bicycle enthusiast.  I enjoy fashion, GQ, Esquire, Details, and Complex magazines fill my office.  I am artist and enjoy creating.  I have learned to really like cooking and constantly challenge myself to try new things and acquire new skills, much to others' pleasing.  I am an extrovert and enjoy being around people.

I think much of life is over complicated. Simplicity gets messy and complicated too often in my estimation. Daily I try to live into the idea of simplicity as beauty. Writing is therapeutic and aids in the process of not getting, “lost in the woods.”  Life is beautiful to me and I see an endless stream of opportunities. I wake up daily thankful and eager to live life to its fullest.  I try my best to be kind and compassionate to others.  I believe in life you can only control yourself and focus on self preparation and growth will lead to more peaceful and fulfilling life.  I'm excited to learn and grow as life continues on.
